the Cedar Lake Seven
a mission of Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church

Pics

For summer fun, we reorganized the Bryn Mawr Men's Chorus (see earlier pic below) and invited all the guys of the church to come on and sing. Dan Berks, Steve Borden, both former members of the CL7, and Dan Grabow all sang leads at the first church service this summer.

Our 2006 season ended with a concert at the Episcopal Homes of Minnesota, in St. Paul.
It was a wonderful time - as the director wrote to us the next day: "Well, there’s a LOT of buzz about last night’s concert all over the campus today – all of it GRRREAT! ... The chapel was near capacity last night, but with all the enthusiastic word-of-mouth, the place will be PACKED from now on."

Our first gig, the Bryn Mawr Men's Chorus, singing for John Ackerman's book-signing party.

Our first paying gig, now known as the Cedar Lake Seven, singing at Friendship Village.

A couple of snapshots of the gang, hanging out with Garrison Keillor, after the Prairie Home Companion gig.

Some concert photos of a benefit for Hospitality House.

Photos of the Seven talking and singing with the great Fairfield Four.

A mini photo-tour of our trip to Hungary.
